Born in 1982 in Khan Younis, Gaza, Majed is a Palestinian visual artist and educator. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art education from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza in 2004 and worked as an art and crafts teacher in the Ministry of Education schools.

His creative journey is marked by numerous achievements in public art, particularly large-scale relief murals and commemorative art, often displayed on the walls of educational institutions such as universities, schools, and public buildings.

Majed has participated in many group art exhibitions both in Gaza and abroad. Committed to fostering artistic talent, he has also overseen numerous art training workshops. His professional development includes advanced courses in sculpture, ceramics, painting, and photography.

A few years ago, Majed left Gaza to reside in Turkey. Being away from his homeland and loved ones during the devastating war on Gaza has left him feeling unable to express himself artistically
